The development of Error-free software is not only feasible, it was accomplished in 1968 by IBM when they developed the PL/I compiler.
As a home-based software development consulting business, I needed to be able to economically develop error-free product. To accomplish this goal, I committed to a regular long term independent research and development effort. This has resulted in a methodology and software development tools which is strictly compliant with the principles of ISO-9001 This research activity is still in process.
